“I was never a cheerleader. It was funny, because we were asked to wear cheerleading outfits to the audition, and most of the other girls had them because they were cheerleaders at one point and had them hanging in the closet somewhere. So I went and found this kind of retro-looking, pseudo cheerleader outfit and it was pretty cool.”
