Invitation card to a retrospective exhibition in 2009 dedicated to Dieter Rams, one of the 20th century’s most influential industrial designers. As head of design at Braun, the German consumer electronics manufacturer, Rams defined an elegant and rigorous visual language for its products. There were 244 objects shown at the exhibition, spanning six decades of his life and work.
The invitation card featured the RT20 radio (1961), which according to Rams was the first Braun product where the back was given as much consideration as the front.
